This is one of the areas where you can never ever get a value free judgment. America, Europe etc, the so called G8, always align themselves with the status quo i.e they suport those who have power and loyal to them. So, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, Bahrain etc are NOT human right violators. For these same countries, PLO, Irish resistance movement, Iran, China, Korea, etc are number one human right violators. Those countries that violate most basic human rights are not even mentioned in the report of the west on the issue of human right. For me, Hamas is a human right violator when it plants bomb and kills children, women, the elderly etc. By the same token Israel is also a human right violator when it kills babies as infantile as days old and elderly as aged as nearly hundred etc. America is also a human right violator when evaluated from guantanamo, abugrae prison. No country is perfect. There is always violation with varying degrees and combination. Which country best record?

  1. I'm not sure. Definitely not the United States. Bombing of Hiroshima, Slavery. The medical system blows. Everyone should have the right to medicine (Class and money shouldn't be part of it), the witch hunt (for the reds!). So many violations (in my opinion).

Canada even has its issues (no matter how much we claim otherwise). The camps for the Japanese, basically enslaving the westerners, the abuse of the Chinese to build the railways. It's all been pretty bumpy. I don't think one country can claim they are completely innocent.

  2. the united states

  3. I think it might be Australia when the states came together. Because the country is very young, and only has a population of 20 mill, but it has so much land so there aren't as many fights about who's tress passing on who's land. Another reason is only 13mill Australians actually live in Australia, the other 7mill are from other Countries. So the racism isn't as big. (I'm not saying Australia's the most multicultural but its multiculturalism takes up more than a quarter of the population) People are free and more laid back in Australia and the laidbackness of the Aussies really help the freedom. People have loads of rights here and are not cancelled out by any other laws. The US might have more laws which have more human right, but are usually cancelled out by things in the Constitution.

  4. Switzerland
