Question:

Which country has more players in Europe: Mexico or USA?

Not that it really matters when it comes to which country has the better side, but I always thought the USA had more in Europe because Mexico has a richer league and a better league than MLS. 1,000,000,000 points to the best answer. Thanks in advance

  3. Notable Mexican footballers in Europe:

Omar Bravo        Deportivo de La Coruña

    Nery Castillo        Manchester City

    Antonio de Nigris      Ankaraspor

    Giovani dos Santos   Tottenham Hotspur

    Guillermo Franco Villarreal

    Aarón Galindo         Eintracht Frankfurt

Andrés Guardado Deportivo de La Coruña

    Rafael Márquez         Barcelona

    Héctor Moreno         AZ Alkmaar

    Ricardo Osorio         VfB Stuttgart

    Pável Pardo         VfB Stuttgart

    Francisco Rodríguez PSV Eindhoven

    Carlos Salcido         PSV Eindhoven

    Carlos Vela         Arsenal

Starters: Omar Bravo, Antonio de Nigris, Giovani dos Santos, Guillermo Franco, Aarón Galindo, Andrés Guardado (best player on the team), Rafael Márquez, Héctor Moreno, Ricardo Osorio, Pável Pardo (Captain), Francisco Rodríguez, Carlos Salcido (2nd Captain).

*Carlos Vela has been a starter during preseason but once Arsenal has a full squad he is expected to be a sub but Wenger has stated that he is the natural replacement of Eduardo. Nery Castillo has been a sub lately but that is due to rumors that he is leaving to another team so Mark Hughes hasn't played much for the reason that he might not have him in the upcoming reason.

    Other Mexican players in Europe:

    Roberto Leyva Lillie B  France

Angel de la Tejera Lyon B France

    Adrián Abascal Hércules CF  Spain

Jonathan dos Santos FC Barcelona C  Spain

Marcos Rodríguez FC Barcelona C  Spain

Diego Moralez FC Barcelona C Spain

    Eddy Vallejo Mallorca B Spain

Carlos Plascencia Atletico Madrid B Spain

    Richard Sánchez Atletico Madrid Spain

    Javier Iturriaga Lorca Deportiva  Spain

    Juan Seguro Real Unión Spain

    Juan Pérez FC Tatabánya

    Jesús Flores FC Tatabánya

    Jorge Oropeza FCM Bacau

    Sergio Ramírez Ararat Yerevan

    Raul Casso Dhofar Club

As you can see Mexico has many players in Europe but its

the "notable" players that Mexicans take into account. So that

is why Mexico always says they only have 14 players in Europe.

I believe that someone already gave you a list of US players but

if you compare them you will see that the US thrives in quantity but

Mexico thrives in quality. So at the end its up to you what do

you prefer numerous players that most people have never heard

of or few quality players recognized in Europe. The US has quality players in Europe but not as much as Mexico while its the opposite

    when it comes to quantity.

  4. im mexican

usa has more but in weaker teams

mexico has more in stronger teams

  5. mexico cause they have more talented players than usa

  6. Its hilarious that the excuse the americans use for Mexicans being in top clubs, is that they take bench, ok they all START, not like your weak european teams, except for Vela and Giovani, who are in their first year at TOTTENHAM AND ARSENAL

but i do admit USA has more in europe, but 2nd leagues dont count lol

  7. well the U.S. is register to have more players in Europe but everyone of them in minor teams that are just gonna be fighting to not descent

Mexican have less but the players are in big teams and even winning championships not worrying about descending

  8. USa of course...it hurts them to admit it. :]

you people are funny they write an article where they mention your players and you get all worked up..lol...like do you seriously beleive everything the press says?

oh no you only believe only the things you want to hear right?

  9. I don't know how many Mexicans play in Europe.  However here is a list on Americans who play overseas.

LOL...The USA has more than 25, just read the list that I provided!

  10. Yes USA does have more players in Europe but minor teams, the one in the best team is probably Jozy with Villareal.

Mexico does have fewer players because our league is better and the players are not in a hurry to leave to Europe like the Brazilians and Argentinians.

  11. mexico has more and in better clubs aswell.

Barcelona, Stuttgart, PSV, Villareal, Deportivo, Arsenal, Eintracht Frankfurt, Tottenham, Manchester City, Ankaraspor, AZ Alkmar

if you see the guys list below some of the players that are on it are playing in the US and Canada. Also like we everyone ahs said theyre in really bad clubs for the most part. those don't really count....

If you wana know how many of them make an impact just see how before Pavel Pardo and Osorio went to stuttugart they hadnt won the bundesliga in 17 years and as soon as they got tehre they won it the first and pardo ebcome captain after just one year. Also Marquez was a huge impact when Barcelona won two titles and the Champions league Giovanni is seen as the future of Tottenham and that he will take them into being a big club. Guardado is the star of Deportivo and is also seen like they see dos santos. Salcido was named th best defender in Holland. Most of our players start but not all of them are the stars i will agree with that. But we have alot that are too.

  12. Silly question, Mexico of course! the world barely is concerned about the MLS, except for USA

I know the MLS, was just an addition.. Mexico has more if you count the players who play in smaller clubs like US does

  13. If usa has more players there all really good at there position

and there position is Sweat wipin and water boys

thats why landon donovan dint handle it germany

Mexicans are more known in europe

    Hate on it bit.ch.es.

  14. Omar Bravo Deportivo de La Coruña

    Nery Castillo Manchester City

    Antonio de Nigris Ankaraspor

    Giovani dos Santos Tottenham Hotspur

    Guillermo Franco Villarreal

    Aarón Galindo Eintracht Frankfurt

Andrés Guardado Deportivo de La Coruña

    Rafael Márquez Barcelona

    Héctor Moreno AZ Alkmaar

    Ricardo Osorio VfB Stuttgart

    Pável Pardo VfB Stuttgart

    Francisco Rodríguez PSV Eindhoven

    Carlos Salcido PSV Eindhoven

    Carlos Vela Arsenal

Roberto Leyva-loan to Lillie from real madrid but may be permanent

Angel de la Tejera Lyon B

    Adrián Abascal Hércules CF

    Jonathan dos Santos FC Barcelona

    Marcos Rodríguez FC Barcelona

    Diego Moralez FC Barcelona

    Eddy Vallejo Mallorca

    Carlos Plascencia Atletico Madrid

    Richard Sánchez Atletico Madrid

    Javier Iturriaga Lorca Deportiva

    Juan Seguro Real Unión

    Juan Pérez FC Tatabánya

    Jesús Flores FC Tatabánya

    Sergio Ramírez Ararat Yerevan

and theres more who are in youth clubs also, but i dont remember them. so about 35-38

    usa has like 15-25

    So mexico has more

  15. USA has 73 players in Europe

    Mexico has 27

    nuff said

  16. Mexico

  17. Haha the most of our players Mexican players playing abroad are key players on their teams. Such as Rafa Marquez, Carlos Salcido, Pavel Pardo, Ricardo Osorio and we got Vela and Dos Santos who are new to the EPL and are making an impact already.

I bet you know all the players and you just wanted us to say that the U.S. has more, but have you heard the phrase " Quality not Quantity" well this should apply here because the EPL is always getting crappy American players because I think they feel they are in debt with the US, but whatever. It's whatever floats your boat, you know?

  18. Mexico. Even if the US has more, theyre in lower clubs, or they take the important role of making sure no1 steals the bench
