  1. Indonesia.

    Indonesia is second with the most endemic mammal species in the world, and the country with the most endemic birds in the world. It is home to over 600 reptile species, over 400 amphibian species, and not to mention the fish, insects, and plant species. From the red ape, colorful birds, a living "dragon", to secretive frogs, we have them all.

    The country's biodiversity is very different from the west to the east. It is a gorgeous country.

  5. in addition to australia, new zealand and the galapagos (technically ecudor) i submit madagascar... essentially island will alwyas have more unique life than the mainlands...
