kulfi and halwa and kheer

or in the south of india

dosa-crepe like big crispy pancake made from lentils and rice

idli-steamed lentil and rice cake

dahi vada-deep fried lentil 'donuts' in yogurt and spices

sambar-hot stew condiment thing

payasam for dessert-cashews, pistachios, raisins, milk, coconut, cardamon, saffron, rice or vermicelli mmm

Italy-Thin and crispy pizzas with mozarella, cherry or plum tomatos, oregano and then optional toppings of mushrooms, goats cheese, parmesan, ricotta, meats (but i'm veggie so no!) and other vegetables.

pasta-my fave being spinach and ricotta or goats cheese and caremelised onion filled tortellini topped with fresh tomato and basil sauce and rocket

good coffee- the finest cappucino, expressos, mochas etc =)

dessert: tiramisu (not my thing but loved by many) or amazingggg gelato icecream :P

dessert: sticky coconut rice with mango

gluey tord-deep fried banana with syrup

banana in coconut milk

Japan

soba noodle soup

You are all crazy.  Italy has the best food on the planet.  Each region has a different style of food and they all compliment their native foods.
