I think South American countries have an incredible system. Children are doing multiplication in 1st grade. Most kids can read at 3-4 years old. The only downfall is that, education is not free. If you don't have money.... no school. Sad but true! Hope that helps. I know you will get alot of answers about Asian systems, but keep in mind that their highschool students have the highest suicide rate. Although education is essential, I would hate to have so much pressure on my son/daughter that is goes that far.

The best education system for who? Grade school, High School, College, Grad school? Best being what? Best grades, best teachers, best reputation?

I doubt anyone could honestly say one country has a better system than another. Every country has different requirements for students to meet, the curriculum is different everywhere, etc. Even if you attempted to measure the per ca pita success rate it would not give an accurate answer as each country has a difference in population, economy and differences in what the term "success" and "best" means.
