Anywhere in the Mediterranean people are Friendly esc. Italy, Greece, and Spain though I have met very nice French People but bad experience in Paris.

I do like Greece the best, but thats just because I'm impartial.

Unless anyone has visited them all I'm not sure how you could come up with an un-biased answer.

However based on what I have experienced, I would say

I have always found a warm welcome all over - I think it really depends on your attitude. Greek people seem to have the edge on hospitality though!

I think that's hard. Italians and Portuguese are very friendly, so are Irish, and I've found the Czechs to be nice also, and French do warm to you if you attempt to speak their language, even Germans and Austrians have a quirky charm when you get to know them.

It's true that unless you have been to each and every country and experienced the hospitality of people there yourself, you would be hard-pressed to give a qualified answer............ even then it is also personal opinion.  What I find friendly, you could find rude (and vice versa)

Reputation at least has it that this honour goes to the Irish!

Here in Cyprus! We have some really good friends and neighbours, both ex-pats ands Cypriots, everyone is really friendly

Romania of course!!the people are well friendly like they accept you even if they dont know who you are, they are also very warm people and make you feel comfortable within their company..they are also very polite and great on hospitality!!

Portuguese, Greek and Dutch have all been very friendly to us (English) as visitors.

I've not been to Scandinavia so can't include them one way or another.
