  1. You have a poor concept of education!

You have not completed your education until the second that you take your last breath.

BIG difference between "education" and "formal schooling!"

It is not necessary to go to a foreign land to learn a martial art.

Foreign travel WILL broaden your horizons -- especially if you stay in a country long enough to learn the language, culture and mindset of the nationals..

Don't forget -- if you want to learn a martial art in a foreign country you will probably need to learn the language first!

You can learn Taekwon-Do from a Korean national who learned his Taekwon-Do in Korea and then came to your country.

If you go to Korea you will learn a LOT MORE than Taekwon-Do!

  2. depends. if you go to the fairtex gym in pattaya or bangkok, thailand then prices are going to be crazy. they have nice living quarters and it'll be excellent overall but your going to be spending ALOT.

if you go to a backalley gym anywhere in thailand, the prices are going to be so cheap. the baht is not strong at all-look up urrency rates.

i've trained muay thai in thailand and it was cheap. i didn't live there though.

korea and japan are going to be more expensive but living in one of those shaolin monastaries and training there should be COMPLETELY FREE. problem is they have to want to accept you as a student.

basically anywhere you go you can find really cheap accomodation if your up to living in really yucky places. the cost of training schools differ and you could find a really expensive one or some back alley cheap stuff.

my opinion thailand would be the cheapest.

    thailand

    china

    korea

    japan

in that order of expense but it depends completely on where you stay and train.

    goodluck
