  1. Both are good, they have good salaries. Canada has a very low temp. Most of the Gangsters are in the US. It's your choice. Think about all the benefits you can get in both countries then decide

  2. take your pick, both Canada & the USA offer the same.

  3. In terms of safety, both are fine. It really depends on where you end up - specific town, rather than country. Naturally, if you're in New Orleans, it's less safe than if you're in New York City. If you're in Vancouver, it may be less safe than if you're on Prince Edward Island.

In terms of studying, there are far more strong universities in the US than in Canada, but Canada also has a strong higher ed system. There are some internationally ranked unis in Canada, such as McGill, U Toronto, etc., but there are far more of them in the US, and more of them that have international reputations: Harvard, Princeton, Carnegie Mellon, Yale, etc. ad infinitum.

As for working after you finish your degree, that's where there's a major difference. In the US, unless you study a high demand field and do an internship in that field (computer science, nursing, etc.) it's unlikely you'll be able to find work once you graduate. It's possible, but unlikely. That process is a bit easier if you graduate from a Canadian institution, and try to stay and work in Canada.

It's also easier to get a student visa for Canada than for the US.

Both countries are excellent places to study, if you're an international student. But if you hope to stay and work once you graduate, Canada may be a better choice.
