Question:

Which country is best to relax in?

I'm just taking a week off in July and wondering where is a good place to go to kickback and relax. I'll be travelling from Ireland and want to go outside of europe. I'd love the idea of somewhere a bit unique like cuba or fiji but I get really uncomfortable in temps over 25°c and not sure how hot these places get in summer. I want to go somewhere nice and a bit different, but not somewhere so interesting that I'm tempted to run around visting tourist sights for the whole week. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

  1. Forget Caribbean if you can't take the summer heat...You can try Canada (a beautifull country) or Argentina (Argentina is great and cool on July)

  2. Transylvania!!!!!!!!

  3. ITALY,   kisses from  Mexico

  4. Victoria, B.C in Canada is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and Its usually never too cold or too hot (for Canada that it lol).  Almost Everyone in Canada recommends and agrees that Victoria is beautiful. But to to be honest there are millions of cool places to go in the world to just relax, just keep doing your research. I would recommend one of those silent islands in Oceania.

  5. Off the beaten path, but try going to a B&B on Chincoteague Island in Virginia.  I stayed at this 1848 Island Manor House  http://islandmanor.com/rooms/  a few years ago and it was incredible.  We borrowed bicycles and rode through the national park (links below for both islands).  There were few people on the beach and miles and miles of sandy dunes.  Chincoteague is also famous for wild horses.

If you feel like rejoining civilization, you can head north to the boardwalk of Ocean City, Maryland, or you can head south through the tunnel to Virginia Beach, Virginia.

    Have fun!

  6. Fiji is great (from personal experience).  One of the most beautiful, lay back and under-commercialized places you can go.  Try googling kayaking fiji. They have great sailboat cruises which do some island hopping and you can kayak ashore to deserted beaches and relax or do some snorkelling.  Stay away from cities, shopping malls and touristy areas if you really want to relax.  July will be Fiji's winter so it will be warm but not to hot and humid.

Fiji makes a lot of famous beach spots around the world look very average (overcrowded, dirty, tacky and touristy).

  7. Mauritius - off the Sth African coast ... remote, tropical, warm but not too hot! .. and small enough that you wont have to do too many touristy things!
