  1. i would say sweden cause i grew up there

nice and peaceful to me at least

  2. the two choices you have given are "polar" opposites>the Netherlands, Amsterdam is quite the open minded, liberal place pretty much everything is legal there. here in the u.s. it is the opposite, even though we are "free" we are prisoners of our own device, our puritanical fathers have tried to restrict us from anything "fun". i would visit Amsterdam, but will always live in the u.s.(its safer)-blurey

  3. I have been to Amsterdam and it is a great place to visit, however I would never trade the USA for anything.  After traveling to several countries on different continents I feel truly happy to be here in the US.  The US has everything except the history.  Europe is awesome and I loved Italy, France, Netherlands,UK, and so on but after a while you really miss being here in the states.  Some people would disagree but I don't think so.

  4. Amsterdam is a city not a country. The best country that I have ever seen is Switzerland, it awesome.

  5. My opinion---Australia. Even tho I live in the US.

But USA is probably better than Amsterdam.

Google the statistics and find out lol.

  6. I've lived in the USA my whole life and I can't stand it here, I think  Amsterdam would be cool place to live in. The capital of Netherlands is Amsterdam, Amsterdam is a city.

  7. I would say The Netherlands.

Amsterdam is the capital of The Netherlands

  8. ummm... well its really all just a opinion!

im in USA and my life here is good so yea..

but i guess maybe london or someplace? i dont never hear nothing bad from over there..

  9. Australia is the best country in the world jk USA is better

  10. I have spent 3 months travelling around the USA and one week in Amsterdam (which is only a city) but I would have to say living in Amsterdam would be a lot nicer than living in most US cities.  It is a unique city with all there picturesque canals and nearly everybody walking or riding pushbikes.  There are quite a few countries with a higher standard of living than America (Norway, Sweden, Canada, Belgium, Australia rank higher).  People don't realize how many desperately poor people there are in America unless they have been there.  I think you need to balance up standard of living with quality of life (safety, clean environment, climate, and other factors which contribute towards lifestyle) in order to work out which places are the best to live in.  I'm trying not to be biased but I think Australia is one of the best places in the world to live.  Not too many people have a hard life here.

  11. Come live in Ireland, its great fun here.

  12. For the sake of the entire world, I would strongly discourage you from leaving whichever hick town you grew up in that taught you that Amsterdam was a country.

Is there a better place to live than the USA?  Every place is a 10 in somebody's book, so to some people, absolutely, there are many places better than the USA.

However, the United States is so diverse, politically, economically, culturally, geographically, and has such a wide variety of climates and ecosystems that there is a place for pretty close to anyone in the country that I live in.  This is why the USA attracts immigrants from all over the entire world.

But, like I said in my opening statement, for the sake of the entire world, please don't ever leave whatever backwater town filled with people stupid enough to teach you that Amsterdam is a country, ever.  Please.
