I'm English, but live in the US.

England has better candy, beer and um, that's about it. I was in England for a few months last year and hated every minute of it.

USA is superior to England in every other way.

England

1:We are not the fattest country in the world. we can control are metabolism.

True, to a point. Britain is the fattest country in Europe.

2:we didn't take the English language and butcher it.

Are you kidding? It's painful listening to English people speak, they think they've become yardie gangstas! BRAP BRAP!

3:we are not prejudiced. we don't speak posh and wear all black with top hats like you show in all your non-funny comedies.

That's Pearl Harbor. Are these the same Polish friends the English people hate for taking all the jobs the native dole-seeking scroungers refuse to do while they doss in their council flats?

Yet in point 7 you brag about all the parts of the world England "owned".

England has better tv- the programs run uninterrupted with less censorship.  Then again, people on U.S. tv have better teeth.  Don't they have fluoride in the U.K.?

I'm British but have been to America several times. America does a lot of things better than Britain, such as house prices, but Britain beats the USA in health insurance (everyone has a mediocre guaranteed health care, in America not everyone but it is very good health care). American phones apparently are "bad" compared to British ones, but America get the latest gadgets before Britain. The USA is bigger. Hope this helps.

It really isn't a matter of "better".  The best answer is the cliche' "East, West, Home is Best".  Another is "Viva la difference!".

People also enjoy going somewhere different on holiday, and the UK & US are sufficiently "different" to be a good trip but enough alike that traveling is easy.  That's part of the reason why so many Americans love to visit Great Britain, and so many Brits love to visit the USA.

Note that in YA you often find questions from Americans who think they want to emigrate to the UK, and from Brits who think they want to emigrate to the US.

Both countries are very alike. People in the U.K. have the same amount of money per GDP as the U.S. (only $300 differnce)

Our govermants are very powerfull and have a massive infulance on the world( we are both hated by certain groups of people lol) We both think we are the worlds police must be said.

Our ways of life is the same

we all have the top gadgets on the market and are very rich people.

America is just a massive Great Britain.

Iam half British and half American and i love both countries they are the best countries in the world!
