  1. That depends what you like . NewZealand is a paradise as far as mountains lakes and spectacular scenery goes but they have a lot of cold weather and rain. The wages are not so good . Australia is vaste . there is still a lot of opportunity here . each state is different. It can get very hot. I'm a New Zealander that lives in Australia because I love the weather.

  2. New Zealand! ... They have hobbitses and walking trees :P

  3. I've never been to Aussie but I think that NZ is better to live because of the multi-cultural heritage!

  4. To be honest, both.

Both countries are amazing and have so much to offer.

New Zealand has beautiful scenery with a very relaxed lifestyle. The people in New Zealand are extremly friendly and are always willing to lend a hand. New Zealand also is a very safe country with plenty of sheep!

Australia offers great jobs, beaches and again, friendly people. Australia is also very safe.

To be honest, I personally love New Zealand but that is just me.

    Thanks for the question =)

  5. New Zealand less dangerous creatures, no snakes, crocodiles etc less populated and coast to coast travel is quicker, better scenic views.

  6. Well of course that depends on your personal tastes.  Most Australian residents I know like the hot climate and high living standards there, among other things.  I've lived in Aussie, but the reasons I choose to live in NZ are, no dangerous fauna in the bush or in your garden.  Our government doesn't toady to the U.S. as much as theirs does, and that isn't just a post-911 problem.  I remember the '60s and '70s, when they sent conscripts to Vietnam.  They were trading their young men's lives for trade deals with America.  A cool climate, not too many flies.  Plenty of water.  NZ has the potential for a sustainable economy but Aussie hasn't.  Their high living standards are due entirely to mining non-renewable resources like water and minerals, and their soils are among the poorest in the world.  They are close to Asia and its problems.  Our race relations are much better than theirs.  I don't want to knock anybody's country, but I've visited about 30 countries and Australia is the most boring, by a long way.  Our standard of living is acceptable for most of us, and with a little wealth redistribution NZ could support all its inhabitants at a decent level.  I've got a reliable small car and I don't want a large SUV.  I live in a clean, sound, medium-size house and I don't need a Bill Gates mansion.  When you've got a standard of living as high as most Kiwis, it's time to stop demanding more and more wealth; the world can't sustain uncontrolled consumerism.
