  1. Forget the UK.

The Government has dumbed down the education system to the point that a UK degree is virtually worthless.

I work as a recruiter for a UK Company and at interview I get candidates with degrees that are almost illiterate. Today I employ immigrants from Europe.

  2. I am affraid that you need to make some research before you make up your mind.

Do you have a career plan and/or a life plan? If you have it you are half way of your decision. If you don't, I will suggest you to start working on it as soon as possible. You don't want to go to other country to study a Masters just to realize that is not for you. It will mean for you a waste of your money, time, resources and effort.

If you have a BS and you want to get more specialized in your field of expertise then I will suggest you to look for the school that better fits your career plan and your budget. Let me give you an example. If your career plan is to be a successful Mechanical Engineering specialized in the Aerospace industry and you have already studied your BS in Mechanical Engineering then you will need to look to enroll in one of the more recognized MS programs in the US or Europe such as the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. If you don't have the money to enroll, then look for scholarships or credits...

    Hope this helps...

  3. My daughter went to Japan for her masters.  The school was in Nigatta (sp??) and was  very cold in winter - feet of snow and skiing.

  4. The United States of America.
