China is doing very well right now, but I don't think they will be major players in many of the track and field events, while the US is one of the most dominant countries. While China has more than double the US's total golds right now, some of America's best events are still to come.

I think they're going to keep their gold medal lead consistant.

It's a tough one.  They both have equal chance.  There are still a lot of events coming up.   There are judges and committees working to make sure of a fair game.  I just hope that there won't be more blaming or sour grapes and people would just accept whatever the results are.

China has simple got too many top athletes across too many top categories.

China might only have one team in an event, but they have them in nearly every event.

When the USA wins (see swimming and fencing recently) we can sweep the medals, but only in a single category.
