Warner has joined Middlesex CCC for the competition, subject to Cricket Australia granting a No Objection Certificate to allow the opener to ply his trade in county cricket. Warner has been signed for the whole t20 series, with the exception of two Twenty20 matches Australia plays against Pakistan in July.
