  1. sure, and maybe if your good caption crunch will invite you to breakfast at the captions table

  2. PRINCESS, HE SAILED THE PACIFIC PRINCESS, WHICH IS A SHIP THAT HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A MORE MODERN PACIFIC PRINCESS, AND I THINK HE MUST HAVE RETIRED BY NOW.  AND MOST CAPTIANS ARE GREEK OR ITALIAN

  3. Captain Merrill Stubing was the captain of the Love Boat, which was a TV show that ran from 1977 to 1986.  So, there is no real Captain Merrill Stubing.  Since the show ran on ABC, I guess you could say that ABC employed Captain Merrill Stubing.

The real Love Boats were a couple of Princess ships, neither of which is still in the Princess fleet.  The two real ships were named the Pacific Princess and the Island Princess.  The current Pacific Princess was built in 1999 and the current Island Princess was built in 2002.  Thus, both of the current ships were built well after the show went off the air.  The two original ships are still being used by other companies, however, both now have different names.

The actor who played Captain Merrill Stubing is Gavin MacLeod.  Gavin MacLeod is 77 now, and thus even if he was a real captain (which he is not) he would have long since retired.  He currently lives in Pacific Palisades, but I doubt that you could just walk up to his door and knock.

Even the real captains on the real ships do not have cabins that are accessible to the passengers.  So, even if Captain Merrill Stubing was a real cruise ship captain, you would not be able to just knock on his door.

  4. You would need to go the TVLand to see that Captain.

  5. Are you 12 years old?

  6. Captain Stubing is the captain of the Love Boat (a SHOW ON TV)

real captains would not be accessable to just any person(paying cruise customer).
