And WHY based on where it stops and what you know about the cruiseline/ship. (i'm not going to write any of that additional information)

Cruise #1: MSC Cruises - Orchestra

-Cayo Levantado(Samana), Dominican Republic

-Phillipsburg, St. Maarten

-St. John's, Antigua

-Nassau, Bahamas

Cruise #2: Norwegian Cruiseline - Norwegian Majesty

-Nassau, Bahamas

-Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

-Great stirrup Cap, Bahamas

-Port Canaveral, Florida

These both depart in March 2009 and I need a bit of help deciding which one I would like to go on! Pros/Cons would be nice along with your opinion!

Thankyou! :] I appreciate all of your help!

  1. DEFINATLY THE 1ST ONE.

The biggest spot in the Bahamas in Nassau and the first one is taking you there so you get to explore the Bahamas as well as other places. I think it is definatly better to discover diferent places. Plus St. Maarten is amazing. Definatly go for #1!!

  2. I've been to both destinations

    (Carnival- Fantasy- Bahamas)

(RC- Jewel of Seas- Western Caribbean)

    (Princess- Caribbean Princess- Western Caribbean)

I would say the Caribbean destination is more fulfilling. Your ports of call sound varied and wonderful. You'll have more than simply the Bahamas.  Have you done much research to see what the different ships are like?  I've never sailed with NCL or MSC.   Cruise critic is a great website to get insights on the exact cruises your considering.  Whatever you decide, I hope you have a great time!!

  3. Definitely the first.

We sailed on the MSC Lirica in 2005, on a longer Eastern Caribbean cruise.  We hit Puerto Rico, St Maartens, St Lucia, Grenada, Antigua, Tortola, and then Nassau as the last stop.  Nassau was nice, but I'd pass up the other Bahamian sites any day for a chance to go to those other places.

  4. I would choice the second one mainly because I like NCL better that MSC. And it let you spent a time at marvelous Orlando before or after to. IF the arrivial port if Port carneval that is othervise I would choice It because it has Port Carneval as a port of call. Its close to KSC as well as Orlando and that give you a vide range of opertunites when you decide your shore excursions. Johan.
