Which cruiseline is the cheapest?

My best friend and I want to go on a cruise sometime in March or May 2009. We cant afford anything too fancy. Does anyone know a cheap cruiseline? Anyone that goes into the Caribean, or Bahamas.

We need A ship that departs out of New Orleans, Lousiana.

If you want to cruise only out of New Orleans your options are limited to cruises by Carnival and Norwegian cruise lines.  and their cruises from there go ONLY to the Western Caribbean.  So the Bahamas is out.

You can click on the links to Carnival and to Norwegian to see what cruises leave from there, when and how much.  OR, go to the Carnival cruise line's web site:  http://www.carnival.com/  and search for cruises departing from New Orleans.  AND, then go to the Norwegian site:  http://www.ncl.com/nclweb/home.html  and select cruises departing from NO.

Both of these cruise lines will give you options which are among the lowest prices you will get.  Carnival is known as the budget cruise line.
