  1. Japanese.

    They use virtually no oil, or none at all.

    For sushis, for their noodles (because they use mostly meat or vegetable stock broth), for their rice dishes, etc.

    Mostly grilled, boiled, steamed.

    Chinese.

    Contrary to most people's beliefs, traditional and normal Chinese food (not the ones at the trashy fast food, westernised chinese places) is cooked in little oil, and stir-fried quickly.

    Either that or it's roasted, boiled, steamed, double-boiled, etc.

  2. hmmm.....among indian cuisines,the north indian type of cuisine uses the MOST( butter chicken,paneer butter masala...u get d idea)....try the south indian styles....most of the food is coconut based(tho it is slightly fattening)...but a lot of the food is also steamed.

    u cud try east indian also...like the momos n stuff.

  8. I think Japanese cuisine would use the least amount of oil.  When it comes to sushi and sashimi, they hardly use any oil at all.
