Punjbi/North Indian food.... People love it... Just try gettig into any good north indian resturant like Samarkand/Queens and you would understand why...

Idli, dosa, Vada, Upma, Uttahpam, chatni and sambhar one one floor. Beer and Chicken chilli on the other.

continental food will be a good idea..cos b'lore now has a mix of so many ppl..and it is better to serve varied food than serve limited choice..

Try something different. Don't do what rest of the people do.

North Indian/ SouthIndian/ Chinese/ Continental/ Italian/ Mexican /Lebanese/ Greek/ Gourmet Food/ French/ Thai/ Confectionery and Bakery items like Cakes and all that/ Lounge Bar..... Take your pick. Whatever you do , keep it simple, hyiegenic, no exhorbitant rates, and good decor... It will be a huge Success. All the Best.... Invite me when it opens....

P.S. Have you tried SUNNY'S Restaurant near Chinnaswamy stadium/ Airlines hotel (I guess it's somewhere near or at Lavelle Road)... Its been years for me... but my mouth still waters....

Try to go for some Punjabi Dhaba sort of Restaurent.One More thing , the look and feel of the Restaurent should be Like a Dhaba from Inside,Same shape of plates , big steel glasses...etc..

I think it will really create a interest in people to go there.

Soth Indian Cuisine would definately work but also considering that Bangalore or Bengaluru is an IT hub I believe all kinds of cuisine would work as there are people from all over India living and working in Bangalore.

Mexican!!  Good Mexican food is so hard to find in Bangalore, but it shouldn't be that difficult to make - other than decent cheese, all of the ingredients can be found here.

B LORE  IS  THE  HAPPENING  CITY  RITE  NOW  IN INDIA,  it  has   both  the  young  and  the  litrate  crowd,  so  i  geuss  open up  a  spot  where  u  cater   people for  a  fusion  cusine,  probably thai fused  or  indian  fused  with  french..  cos  thats    wat  the  world  is  going  to...and make  it  as  a joint hub on week  ends  with dj s and  music  so  that  u  can  hav  a  packed bar... and  double  ur  profit
