  2. Indian Currency is widely accepted in Nepal. Please be sure that you are not carrying INR 500 and INR 1000 notes. As they are illegal to exchange with the territory of Nepal. If carrying loads of cash is inconvenience for you. You can carry INR Traveler's Check from States bank of India and Exchange the same from Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. Or take debit card from Punjab National bank and enchash it through the ATMs of Everest Bank in Nepal.

  3. Its fine to bring/use IC while you are here in Nepal. But, sometimes you may face some difficulties on exchanging money. In this case you may exchange the money on flat rate of 1= 1:60 anywhere at the bank or money changers in Nepal as well.
