Which custom harley what do u think??

1. A 2008 fat boy with flame paint job all chrome

2. A 2008 street bob with flat black paint total chrome and high handle bars.

I am a Harley Mechanic and have 2 in my garage..I would go the Flame paint . I am not a big fan of the new Harley flat paint job. It really shows oil smuges and is tough to keep clean.

I like the looks of the Street Bob, but I am not a fan of high bars. I think the flat black would really set the chrome off. That would be a good look on any bike.

I'd go with the Fat Boy with the flame paint and chrome.  I don't really like the flat black paint and I've never been fond of the high ape bars.  I am a sucker for chrome and good paint jobs, so the Fat Boy wins in my book.

i vote for 2, i love the street bobs.  i wouldn't do much chrome on it though.  and for the bars i wouldn't go any higher than 16" apes, which is still pretty high.

The only thing cool about Harleys is their looks and sometimes their sound.  They are way over-priced, vibrate like h**l, could have better fuel economy, and have a snobbish appeal to them.  Harleys are nice to look at and that's about it.

You can get a far superior product for less money from an Asian company.  If you shop in Europe, you can also fine a better product but you'll have to shell out a few more dollars.

If I had to pick a Harley, I'd get something chopper-like.  Raked front end, ape hangers, huge engine, flames and skulls all over the paint, chrome, and leather.

Either one. I would just trade it in on what I really wanted which is either an Electra Glide or a Road King.

The Fat Boy being a Softail has the rigid mounted B engine and unlike some uninformed people think, they do not vibrate.

The Street Bob is a Dyna and has the rubber mounted unbalanced engine and does vibrate like a Harley is known for.

I love my Street Bob but to be honest I would like the smoother ride of a Softail after about 300 miles, but around town it is a great thing under my butt.
