  1. Stuttgart is the capital city of Baden-Wuerttemberg. There, you have the following holydays:

1st of January - New Years Day

6th of January - Holy Three Kings

    The Friday before Eastern

    The Monday ofter Eastern

1st of May - Labour Day

    Christi Ascension Day

Monday after Whitsuntide (don't know, if Babelfish translate "Pfingsten" correctly. Its the day, the Holy Ghost comes to the Apostels)

    Fronleichnam

3rd of October - Renunion of Germany

1st of November - Day of all Holy people (Allerheiligen)

    25th and 26th of Dezember - XMas

You know that Germany is seperated in "Bundeslaender"? Quite the same like the states in the USA. In theses Bundeslaender you have more or less Holydays, it depends on, if more people there are catholic or prostanten (?). Baden-Wuerttemberg is mostly catholic, therefore they have more Holydays than for example Berlin.
