Which days of the week have the lowest flight fares?

I am traveling the end of June- almost a month away. And want to book this weekend and take advantage of low fares by booking in advance. I am flexible as to days and times. Any help will be appreciated. I would like to include a weekend at my destination.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are the cheapest days to fly, with Tuesday being the least expensive.

Early morning (ie, 6:00am) and late evening (10:00pm) usually are the least expensive flights.

Monday is never a cheap day to fly, because it is used by both returning weeked fliers and business fliers.

I recently checked rates on South West, where you can change dates and times as well as the number of stops and direct flights to find the least expensive flights.

Check the rates for departing on a Wednesday and returning on a Tuesday to get in your weekend time.
