I SKATE STREET SKATING ONLY. I have size 12 feet and currently skate a 7.75 and have skated 7.5's in the past when my feet where a little smaller.... The problem is, is that i often jump of my board after a trick because I cant balance. Ive heard that its quite hard to flip an 8 inch deck so Im not sure if i should get one.

  1. go for an at least 8''

with feet that big you need a bigger deck

it's not that difficult to flick an 8'' when you're a size 12

i've pulled off a clean heelflip when i tried out my friends 8'' boards when i normally ride 7.6-7.75 and my shoe size is 7.5!

look at a bunch of pros who do pull off a bunch of flip tricks and they ride 8''+ decks

if you probably continue to ride a 7.5-7.75 you may be able to flick it but it's going to be a whole lot harder to catch

and once you get a deck thats around 8'' get some 139 Independent Stage 10 or Stage 9's so that way you can turn easier and balancing could be easier with a smooth turning trucks

  2. Yea for that size I would definitely for an 8 board. It will be easier to land since you will not have your feet hanging of a whole lot and it will still be easy to flip!
