  1. Political science, history, economics, engineering, sociology, anthropology, medicine, law, etc.

  2. Political Science, International Studies, etc.

  3. Wow some scary answers... Development work today constitutes many different fields from sciences to business to humanities. The UN itself has seperate bodies to carry out different work from the UNDP for general development to specialised groups such as UNIFEM - the Development Fund for Women.

The most important things you'll need to work for the UN are a masters degree, international experience, and foreign language fluency.

Masters - Can be in many different fields. There is a trend toward hiring 'hard' degrees such as the MBA or MIA over generalist degrees such as a masters of development. You can also be hired with any science masters although the number of jobs are fewer. I would recommend an MBA or MIA from a good school to have the greatest opportunity.

Experience - Many people who have the degree and the language fluency don't have international experience. But it's not hard to get. Sign up to be a volunteer with an organization like the Peace Corps, UNV, or even the United Nations Volunteer Program. These are all respected within the development community.

Language - The UN has six official languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish. You generally need fluency in at least two.

Get those things and you'll have a chance to work for the UN! Unfortunately, the UN has a huge number of applicants for each available job. You may find it easier to get a job with Amnesty International or another development organization and then move to the UN. Doing some volunteer work with the UN would be a good place to start -> http://www.unv.org/

    Good luck!

  4. poly sci...or law would work well too...probably journalism also...they love to spin with the best of them

  5. Whichever 1 teaches you how to lie, cheat & steal.

  6. Just join the Freemasons or Skull and Bones.  Many others have sold out to these Zionist secret societies to join the ranks of the globalist elite criminals.

  7. political and international studies ... b.a. degree
