Which degree?

i am hopefully going to university next year as a mature student, can anyone recommend a course, that is both interesting and provides good career opportunities. i have some ideas but any advice from people who've been through it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

  1. I don't know what courses to advise......but don't do Nursing I am still trying to get a full time position in a field that Im interested in!!  I also went back into education as a mature student, so I know how hard it was to adapt to that environment again...Good Luck!


  2. You really do not state what your 'interests' are, what we may find interesting may not quite hold true for you.

    However for good career opportunites and a chance to build up your analytical and critical thinking skills take a look at: Psychology, Philosophy, Economics, Finance, Business -

    There are plenty of degree programs out there, check out your universities' website for a complete list, something may spark your imagination while browsing.

  3. social science or youth and community work are good degree courses and have a broad range of career opportunities afterwards,you can also follow on with a choice of three different masters if you wanted to,good for mature students because you can apply your life experience to these courses.good luck
