  1. Shibe Park/ Connie Mack.  Beautiful old stadium where the Philadelphia Athletics and the Phillies used to play.

  2. I agree.

  3. Tiger Stadium and Municipal Stadium

Yes i loved that staduim. It had a lot of heart.  I cried the day Jacob's Field opened.

  4. Veterans Stadium in Philly...Alot of memories there.

  5. The real Yankee Stadium which should not be confused with the one of the same name that currently occupies the same site.

  6. Now you'll all laugh....Veterans Stadium in Philly.

    Because I grew up there!

Why is it that we tear down our stadiums anyway (I know the answer is property value but still.).  What would Rome be without the Coliseum?

  7. definitely Tiger Stadium

  8. Huntington Avenue grounds.

Boston, circa 1903-1912.  Home of the Red Sox pre-Fenway.  Center field was 635 feet.  That's 635 feet.  that would make for some interesting play.

  9. Old Comiskey Park.

I went to so many games there as a kid and then as I got older I used to always look for it when I drove through that area.

I loved sitting in the center field bleachers especially when the Sox hit a homerun. And, running up and down the ramps behind the scoreboard was always tons of fun.

Even though I lived more than a couple of miles away, I used to be able to see the fireworks from the score board from my bedroom window on night when the weather was nice.

I understand that it was an old park and needed to go to make way for New Comiskey, but Old Comiskey was special.

  10. im a huge sox fan so i hope they never take Fenway down but i wish Busch Stadium was still standing

  11. Tiger Stadium. Should be left standing for the NL team that Detroit will get when the NL expands.
