Which deodorant style is better for the environment, stick or spray?

Just wondering. As far as how they are made, to how they are used, to how they are disposed of. Which is better for the environment?

Well there's 2 answers beacouse

Stick doesnt use any gases although gases will you used in the factories and makes pollution

But it could be spray becaouse the aerosols they are made of are sometimes more recycle friendly than the stick contents

So it depends which way you look at it

well it depends..what kind of deorderant are you using.alot of deorderants and other things in the stores today are filled with metal and other toxics that not only messes up the enviornment,but its more likely to have  a caustic effect to you and others.There is such thing as natural,non toxic enviornmentally safe products.be careful though cause alot of them that are out there today they may be going green ut its very diluted and you have to buy it over and  over.my family goes through a private store that rarely ppl know about.where you have to know someone thats already in it to receive the cheaper,better quality,safer,better,greener products.so dont think just deorderant,but the other things youre using are toxic too.research it for yourself.if you like contact me and i can help out anyway i can.

You can get those crystal stick deodorants, which i imagine would be pretty environmentally friendly.

I would assume stick, 'cos aerosols in general are pretty bad for the environment.  There's this one brand called Tom's of Maine, they make organic deodorant, I'd guess they're pretty eco-friendly.

If the spray is non-aerosol, then really they are about equal.  Next, compare the ingredients between the spray and the stick.
