Which desktop or laptop is the best out there?

i still say that the best laptop is a sony vaio. i bought mine about 3 years ago, and it is still working fine today. and it is easy to reformat and reinstall. and whenever you reformat you dont have to connect to microsoft to activate windows. and the way it is made it is more well made than any other laptop out there.

the only problem is windows vista. my sister bought a new vaio with vista. and at 1gb memory, it is still pretty slow.

i think it is better to wait for windows 7.

but a sony vaio is better than dell, hp, or a toshiba, which (all 3), usually have unsolvable driver problems with microsoft's windows.
