Which destination is better?

Which one is a better vacation spot, Cozumel or Belize? Please give a detailed explanation of your answer. Thanks!

If I just wanted to go sit on a beach, I'd probably go somewhere else.  But those are two EXCELLENT scuba diving locations.  Cozumel has the best reef in the world, but Belize has The Blue Hole.

I suppose this means that Cozumel would be better for snorklers, since I can't really imagine wanting to snorkel over The Blue Hole, but maybe people do it.

I only have about 12 dives under my belt so if it were me I would choose Cozumel.  If I were more advanced, though...then that means I'd take lots of dive trips to get to that level so I suppose I'd go to both eventually.
