  1. My daughter is only 9 days old but we've been using pampers swaddlers and they are great so far.  I love the yellow stripe that turns green when she is wet.  I don't know if other brands do that.

  2. i use huggies because that is what my sons dad buys for him because the name but pampers is the best never had a leak problem as for huggies have leak problems

  3. I used huggies when my son was first born...I used them till he was about 5 months, and they would leak and also it looked like they didn't fit him comfy. I switched too pampers and been with them since.

  4. Honestly, I always used Pampers. Huggies gave ALL four of my kids irritation. Not quite a rash, but just redness around the thighs and butt. I've never had a leak problem with Pampers either. Had an awful one with Huggies that I do NOT wanna discuss!! I'm just gonna say it involved a nap, a crib, and A LOT of p**p!

  5. Huggies Newborns worked best for me. You just have to try and find which ones work best for your baby. They are all different. Good luck with your baby!

  6. I use Pampers They just fit better and where more absorbent

but don't make up your mind ...when i had my baby i went threw 6 different brands of diapers trying to find the ones that worked for me...every baby is different

All the other brands of dipars leaked

  7. I suggest using what ever is in your budget.  It doesn't matter which brand you get you will find something you don't like about them.  Sometimes p**p running up the back is inevitable!

  8. Pampers Swaddlers are the best! So soft and no leaks! Huggies are good too. They just don't seem like they are as comfortable. Luvs are garbage! I bought them once and never will again! Every diaper in that pack leaked!

  9. pampers swaddlers for sure!

personal choice, i tried both.  huggies for some reason leaked.  so i just stuck to pampers. love em

    congrats :)

  10. PAMPERS for sure. They fit better and don't seem to leak like the others. My daughter was dead set on Huggies because she is a labor/delivery nurse and that is what the hospital uses. When she had her baby, she found out real quick that pampers were better. Luvs aren't good either.

  11. I LOVE pampers!

They don't leak, are more absorbent, and the crotch gets really squishy when they pee, so it is a LOT easier to tell when they are wet.

Also, when you go to roll up the dirty diaper up into itself and fasten it with the tabs, the tabs stay open, so you don't have to worry about digging them out of a poopy diaper

  12. Definitely Pampers swaddlers.  They are so soft and seem to fit my baby the best.  I have tried them all.

    :)

  13. I used Huggies when my daughter was first born, then the pampers went on sale once so i tried them and have been with them ever since.

I like the pampers better because i find they arent as thick as the huggies..i used to get leaks with the huggies for some reason and wih the pampers i dont. They also have a pleasant smell to them :)

  14. First of all CONGRATULATIONS on the baby, I am about to have one myself soon...

I don't want to be annoying, but I would like to suggest maybe using cloth diapers rather than disposable ones. They are so much more comfortable for the baby and Environmentally Friendly. Plus they are super cute. I have been researching on cloth diapers for the past month have made up my mind to give it a try. Here are some links if you are interested. But if you are a busy working mom, disposables are definitely more practical.

There are many more, but I don't want to overwhelm you. If you consider using cloth diapers and have any questions regarding researching and info on cloth diapers, I have more useful links.

    GOOD LUCK

  15. Different babies have different bodies, and with that, each brand of diaper has a slightly different fit. While the absorbency is similar between them all, the size, cut, and fit of the diaper will make a difference in its performance.

You should try different diapers to determine which provide the best coverage for your baby (pun intended). While Pampers and Huggies are the most popular brands, don't rule out Luvs, White Cloud, or other manufacturers if your baby is having constant leaks or blow-outs. Sometimes the fit of the diaper will be different and the cheaper diaper will perform better.

I should note that as a P&G stock holder, I would of course encourage the use of Pampers or Luvs; but that said, you should frankly use whatever diaper best performs on your baby.

    Good luck and congratulations!

  16. Pampers swaddlers are my favorite--they are soft and absorbent. Huggies leak, and the store brand from Babies R Us are really hard on the outside. I've heard White Cloud (Wal-Mart) brand are favored by many moms and are cheaper.

  17. Huggies leak

Pampers are very good and luvs are good as well.

  18. for us Pampers worked awesome. I have a 6 month old BOY and found that Huggies always leaked (pee would run down his legs) Pampers were snug & never leaked (unless grandma put on the diaper wrong!! heehee)

  19. well i use pampers and trust me they stand the test of time and whatever comes along wit it.It holds liquids and the solids very very good and its a comfortable fit on all types of babies.go wit it

  20. We loved Pampers Swaddlers, but outgrew them very fast, they started giving diaper rash to my baby in a couple of weeks and we just started buing from Costco kirkland brand. So far I love them and they are cheaper by the box. Used Huggies and Luvs couple times - Luvs are very stiff, Huggies were comfy.

  21. Well sometimes babies develop rashes with diffrent diaper brands so be careful. hospitals trust and start you off with pampers so my opinion is stick to pampers if you see your baby does'nt have a bad reaction to them. once your baby is older you can change to a diffrent brand. in my experience with three thirsty / hungry boys huggies and luvs dont hold as much # 1 or # 2 as pampers.
