  1. It goes both ways.

The many books of the N.T. have different propaganda images of Jesus. Some are kind, while others are - well - far worse.

Before you disregard my post, please read these passages from the New Testament. Do they sound like they are about the same man?

    "Nice Jesus"

1 John 4:7-11: Let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us... Since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Matthew 26:52: Put your sword back in its place for all who take the sword will die by the sword.

    "Mean Jesus"

Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Matthew: 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

  2. evangelicals say getting people into their church but nobody else's, is most important, but Jesus said to love people.

  3. umm i think that if you were loving thy neighbor, thy neighbor will eventually start converting to your way of thinking soooo.. Um idk. Good question. If i find out for sure, i will let u know!

  4. well i'm a nihilist so i don't believe that c**p....BUT...from your point of view Jesus wanted you to LOVE everyone not force ur religion upon everyone...

  5. i think he said he hating homosexuals was more important

  6. Love. When he said to "Witness" he did not mean to preach.

  7. I think it was love. That was Jesus' big push was love and acceptance.

  8. Loving everyone. Jesus never preached, the church taught that nonsense. Jesus was smart, He knew that we could better absorb a few choice words then long winded speeches that seem to go on and on that reminds one of the typical used car salesmen trying to sell you something you don't really want.

  9. Loving people, all people just as he did

  10. loving people is converting them. If you love someone you won't want them to  go to h**l will you.

  11. Compassion.

  12. Loving your God with all your soul and heart, and put no other in front of Him. Secondly, love your neighbours as yourself. The first and second commandments (from the Ten Commandments) are the biggest ones.

  13. honestly?

    converting them.

    look it up.

  14. If what Jesus said was true --- that He was the only way to the Father --- is it really loving to not tell someone that? That's illusory peace at best.

  15. Loving them, and NOT judging!

  16. I can't remember it was so long ago that he told me.

  17. Loving people, of couse. Do you think your way of thinking, or living, is absolutely the God's way, I would say NO. But GOD is love, and love is GOD. So LOVE is GOD's religion. He loves us all, does He not, inspite of all our imperfections, so follow in his path, we have to open our hearts, and love one and all, as much as we can.

  18. Well we know what was more important to Jesus, but what did Paul, the apostle of Jesus say?

  19. I'm not sure, I was never friends w/ him at school, he was WAY too geeky

  20. he didnt think converting people was important, he never said that!

    "love thy neighbour"

  21. its not loving to let a person go to h**l unwarned.

  23. In my opinion, Jesus thought love was more important. The two Bible verses below express the feelings of Jesus concerning love.

    John 15:12:

"This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you."

    Peter 4:8

"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."

  24. Loving people I think but that could just be me. I don't recall my parents saying anything about converting the world to your way of thinking.

  25. Absolutely loving people more.

    Peace & Love  :)

  26. Loving People

  27. Loving people - Jesus commanded us to love one another. However, He commissioned us to make disciples of all.

  28. Love,

    love,

    love.

Then everything else falls into place.

  29. LOVE AND FORGIVENESS..

  30. Loving them. "If I have not love I am nothing..."
