Which digital camera takes better night pictures fujifilm or canon?

  1. As far as point-and-shoot cameras go, I've heard that Fujifilm cameras are somewhat better at high ISOs than other compact cameras.  But the difference would be marginal, because all point-and-shoot cameras have pretty lousy high-ISO performance anyway.

    I guess what you would want is a camera that allows a large aperture, like f/2.8.  That would allow a lot of light through the lens while not requiring you to leave the shutter open for a long time, causing blur.

    Really I think DSLRs are better for this sort of thing, but they're pretty out-of-place in a club.


  2. Although I own a Canon SD950-IS and love it, I think the Fuijifilm F31fd is the low light king.  Read this review:

    -Surprisingly good ISO 800 performance
