Do clouds generally travel in the same direction ? I think they usually go from west to east here.

Can someone maybe post me a link about this ?

  1. It all depends on the climate. Humidity, tempeture, and the winds. Once I think about it. If you look at a wind mass map. You will see "The Moonsons" coming into Israel. Then, from there. There would be the clouds moving in the direction of the winds..the moonsons. does that help?

  2. They go east to west here. Any blizzard in the Sierra mountains will be felt in the bay area, california. If you look at the world in real time, you can see that some clouds have a current, they go in circles, so depending on where you are, they could go west to east, east to west, north to south, etc.

  3. It depends upon time of the year.In Soth India where I live, the south-west monsoon(June to September) is blowing now and the wind direction is south-west or westerly.During the period,October to December,North-east monsoon blows and the wind direction will be north-east or easterly.During the remaining period of the year(January to May),the wind direction may be anything depending upon the passage of pressure systems.

  4. Indiana= from the west, southwest and northwest

  5. west to east, really depends on the weather front or the High and low pressure

  6. Typically clouds move from west to east, but it depends where moisture and weather systems come from. In the summer, clouds and thunderstorms can move in just about any direction. I've seen them move from east to west many times during this time of the year. I haven't read much of the following site, but i hope it helps.
