Which dirt bike would be better for me?

I'm debating whether to get a 1991 Honda XR250R or a 2005 Yamaha TT-R230 dirtbike. I dont have the chance to try them out unfortunately so I need help on deciding which is better. I would rather have the fastest one because theres a closed strip of road near the trails I ride on and I like to push my bike to the limit on it. I dont plan on racing or anything, just trail riding. I'm 5' 8" and around 130 (yes I know I'm skinny). So if anyones experienced enough to tell me which bike would be best for me than tell me. At the moment I use my friends 100 cc bike which is amusing but not powerfull enough.

I'd go for the newer TT-R230. The Honda is too old, but Honda makes better bikes.

you want speed so niether of those bikes would i reccomend.  i think what you would be more happy with is like a YZ 125 or a CR 125. look at those before making a decision. if that looks like to much bike than look at the YZ 80 or CR 80. those bikes are smaller but still fast as h**l for there size, but i think you might want more power again after u get used to the 80. Definately a 125! i'm alot bigger so i would go with nothing less than a 250 but these days my preference are the new 450s that kawasaki and yamaha got. Those are the bikes that put hair on yur chest!
