Which district in Paris you like the most and why?

The 7th arrondisement in the area of the Bon Marche department store.  The best metro stops are called Sevre-Babylon and Rue de Bac.  We rent apartments in the area every time we are in Paris.  This is convenient to some favorite spots: La Coupole restaurant and the Museum called d'Orsay.  It's also a walk to the Eiffel Tower.  We like it because it still possesses some Parisian flavor and is very "Left Bank."  And when you want to be in the tourist areas just jump on the Metro.  Affordable cafes on every corner.

Hi, I live in the 19th and so I like it the most.  The reason is that it is more "real" than other districts.  It is socially mixed, had alot of things to do and see, and there are not very many tourists here.  Park Buttes Chaumont, La Villette, Canal St Denis, Canal Ourcq, and other cool stuff!

It's also a bit more gritty (something I like) so if you're expecting things to be really clean you won't like it here.

There is a lot to choose from, it's really a hard one! I'd say the Latin Quarter, where Notre Dame is. I studied in the area when I went to Uni, it's a fantastic place in the city. It has a lot of great restaurants that cater for everyone (italian, greek, moroccan, chinese food), cafes, jazz bars. It's also one of the most cultural places in the city, of couse with Notre Dame but also with the Sorbonne university closeby, plus it was one of the hangout aereas for the former French cultural revolution in the 60's. The great thing about it is that it's also close to the Lunxembourg Gardens which is a fab place to be when it's sunny. Shopping is pretty good there too.
