Which do I use right or left avaition tin snips?

Purchased set of three avaition snips; right, left, and straight.

My question, is when to use the right or left, meaning in releation to the sheet metal you are holding?

The right and left are used to cut circles. The straight are used for straight cuts.

Left snips you use to cut in a clockwise direction and right's in a counterclockwise direction.
