From what I've seen Sony and Fuji digital cameras process images a lot like each other. I certainly can't give you a straight answer on which one is better because you should choose the camera that fits with your life style and your needs.

Most consumer digital cameras (not including DSLRs) take pictures that look a like anyway. Find one that fits you. Anyone whose looked into cameras long enough will tell you the same thing: There's no such thing as a perfect camera, go with the one that feels right for you.

Neither cameras are very good because they do not have a separate optical viewfinder.  Can anyone compose an image through an LCD viewfinder during midday when the sun is shining overhead.  It's a pure glaring problem.  Here''s a better selection.
