  1. Definately older ones.  We're still talking about Casablanca and Gone With The Wind after all these years.  In 2 years time, we will hardly remember anything that came through this season.

  2. older films. just better plots, stories, series.. you name it.

  3. Older ones. I love a lot of movies from the 70s although my favorite era of movies is 87-92. It's all about personal preference. I don't like movies from this decade. I prefer older films. I wish I lived in the 1970s!

  4. older films.. but my favorite (city of god, oldboy, amores perros) have been from around 2000-2003 ish

but when I said older films I'm referring to older films, hitchcock, fellini, godard, etc. etc. further than the 80s

  5. Older films. better plot lines

  6. older but only as far back as the 80s

  7. O  L  D  E  R

  8. older ones, I'm in my mid 20-s and this new stuff is annoying as h**l.

  9. The older ones, far more believable story line and much less violence

  10. Older films generally are better because people back then paid more attention to details, and the actors were FORCED to act better. The older films, at least for me, have a mood about them, an attitude that had a lot to do with lighting, acting, costuming, intensity, and direction. Not to say that today's films are necessarily worse, but technology has taken the place of talent and creativity. I'd rather watch "Gone With The Wind" than "Hellboy" any day and I'm more partial to action/adventures than with drama. However, GWTW, has such character about it, such a dramatic storyline, and for me, it successfully captures a bygone era for good or bad. Today, sadly, violence replaces plot and character in many films leaving the audience needing more and more spectacular effects in an attempt to relate to characters--whom, I might add, are for the most part comic book characters.
