Which do you feel is more stressful? Getting married or Buying/selling a house?

Oh, you asked the right person!  

I've been married two times and sold and bought three houses.  The stress of buying and selling is worse.

If you plan a wedding, there are professional people involved whose job is to get it done and all the details generally turn out right.

The only major problem is if the bride or groom shows up.  Even with that, the move is more upsetting....the contracts might not go through, people come to your house for decorating ideas, their credit may be bad.  You'll be leaving friends, relatives and relocating to a new area, with no guarantee you'll like it there.  Your attorney may be negligent and you can get screwed at the closing table even with his representation.

Packing is an issue in itself.   Boxes all over, stuff getting broken and lost.  You live in h**l for 3 months like you're in a warehouse.

There's saying that "three moves are equal to one fire".  I believe it.  

Plus the d**n house may end up being a money pit and the worst financial investment you ever made.
