Which do you guys think is better?

I'm going to take one of my best friends on a vacation and I don't know which is better. Hawaii or Florida? Tell me some facts about that place you think is better, and why.

I've never been to Hawaii, but I've been to Florida. Disney World in Orlando to be exact. The weather in the summer gets humid and there can be warm rain (I experienced warm rain in July or August when I went 7 years ago). The humid heat is different from the dry heat in California (where I'm from). Florida had a nice scenary. Lots of palm trees, moreso than southern california. The beaches should be nice, that's what I hear from others. Hawaii will have a different culture from Florida, and Florida didn't seem super different from California but I'm not sure how different Hawaii is from California or Florida.

A good tip is to look at popular cities to travel to in both states and decide between those. For example, research on what it's like in Honolulu and what it's like in Miami and see what sounds more appealing. Ask people who have been to the specific locations you are interested in about them.

i'd say florida, but the storms can be quite bad, ive been threw katrina and wouldnt recommend any southern "huricane" states, esspecially not in the summer! and i'd say Hawaii, but my BF is from their, and he says, that if your not used to living their, and even if you are, it's really exspensive, and not just the tuorist attarctions and hotels, but the actual cost of living is way higher, thean the rest of the U. S. both really beautiful states though, with lots of colorful people(florida has friendlier people)
