  1. call me crazy

    but I prefer fake

the real ones smell up the place and drop pine needles all over the house, and then you get to figure out what to do with a dead tree.....its a pain

  2. I like those optic fibre ones that change colour, at lease it is something nice to look at.  Hate putting fairy lights on christmas trees - can't be doing with all that tangling up etc

  3. Real... artificial trees just can't compete in terms of looks, smell, texture and uniqueness.

But, they also require more care... and many people are allergic.  So, if you get a nice fake tree, you could be satisfied.

  4. If it isn't "Real"- it isn't Mine.  :)

  5. Real, it smells wonderful (like Christmas). Every year it is a special trip out to the forest with the family to pick out just the right one. It is never the same tree (of course), so it provides like its own personality for the season.

  6. real

  7. Real, hands down. Artificial trees dont have the smell that remind me of the holidays.

  8. Real only.  I'd rather have none than a fake.  Love the pine fragrance.  The left over turns to mulch or top soil.

  9. i use a fake

  10. Real trees of course! But why? Because they smell nice and without a real tree, Christmas just wouldn't be the same! but this is another reason real trees are better for the environment too! Almost all pine trees on farms are made for one purpose, to be turned into Christmas trees. There are about 500,000 acres of Christmas trees in production for growing Christmas Trees in the U.S. each acre provides the daily oxygen requirements of 18 people. Christmas trees are also recyclable unlike most fake trees. Fake trees usually are imported from china where Christmas trees are made of metals and plastics. The plastic material, typically PVC, can be a potential source of hazardous lead and dangerously hurt or kill children. The working condition of the people at the factories are horrible and disgusting they only get paid $100 a month too, if that! the USDA also quarantined artificial trees because they had a wooden middle poles that had a dangerous beetles in them! many artificial trees contain PVC and which when released is the most potentially harmful man-made chemical ever known. Once in our air it can cause cancer, damaging immune functions and impairing children's development. So artificial trees can't even be recycled! I think its clear as far as which tree is overall better and better for the environment, the real, traditional Christmas tree!!

  11. REAL!!! Fake may be more economical and look prettier (in that fake kind of way) but nothing smells as good as a real bonafied certified green pine CHRISTMAS TREE! You can't beat it, and that's that.

  12. I would love to have a real christmas tree. But since my family members are allergicic that just can't happen.

  13. Fake. You save a lot of money with fake trees by not having to buy one every year. Plus you don't have to worry about needles on the floor.

  14. Live tree and not fake one. Live tree gives a pleasant look and lively to look with all the decorations made to it.. Hope u too like the same way i'm feeling.. :)
