I've always liked dancing in seamed tights. It seems to make my legs look longer and gives a better line (I think).

  1. seamless

  2. i love seamless tights! they are AHmazingg!! my favorite kind are NYCB they are perfect.

    hope this helps!

  3. I like seams and my teacher doesn't mind if there not straight so go seams =^..^=

  4. Seams do enlongate the line of a dancer.

They are annoying to get straight though...

But really, they are totally worth it in the end.

  5. My professional company requires seamless tights for performances.  In class I use seamless.  I tried seamed tights once and my teacher didn't like them; he said they threw off the uniformity of the classroom and told me not to wear them again.  Yikes!  But for partner work the guys like it because they know where to hold my leg (the seam is in just the right spot!).  Keep dancing!♥

  6. I also think that seemed tights make your legs look longer, but I think that seamless tights look a bit more professional. But for everyday class or rehersal, seamed are fine.

  7. Seams JUST on girls. It gives a more professional polished look.

For both guys and girls, seamless. Seams on guys don't look right. And plus, if there are seams, its usually the mesh sort of tights and those kinds of tights don't look good on boys.

  8. um seemed! the seem lets you see turnout better and the line extends the percepted length of your legs.

since guys have the tights that you can see all the way up to they're waist, the smooth non-seemed ones look better. especially when looking at the muscles

  9. i've never seen guy's seamed tights but i know for girls it's better. it's also better for them to be mesh to show of your muscles better.

  10. I've always used seamless but I really like the nice line that the seams give a pointe dancer.

  11. seamless because when the seam is out of line and twisted or something along those lines, it really bugs me especially when i look at other people, but im probably just ocd so lol

  12. seamed tights do look nice if they are on properly and give the illusion of longer legs, but my teacher only lets us wear seamless in class.

  13. Seamless i think! they tend to be more flexible and easier to stretch and dance in.

Also i think they have to be convertible...i neeeed to roll my tights up after a long time dancing.
