I have polled my three children here are there preferences and why:

Ethan(8) says:  Logan Pierce "Logan is a cool name"

                   Layla Katherine "Nana's name is Katherine"

Ryan(5) says:  Owen James "Owen is a neat name I wish it was mine"

                    Lola Elizabeth "It's a pretty name"

Ben(12) says:  Logan Pierce "Wolverine from X-men is cool"

                    No girl preference "I like Layla Elizabeth.  That sounds pretty together."

I know you didn't want different options but I only repeated what he said.

Personally I like Logan and Layla.

I thought you would like opinions of kids.  Kids are who make fun of names.  My kids seem to like your options.

I really like Owen James for a boy (Logan Pierce sounds kind of pretentious and almost soap-opera-ish to me). And I like Lola Elizabeth for a girl (it sounds more feisty than Layla). Nice options.
