Which do you prefer::: tanning on tropical islands or backpacking in europe?

I'll take the backpacking trip.  Tanning on a beach sounds way too boring for me.

I'd prefer shooting myself in the foot to spending a week getting bored out of my mind on some beach.

So definitely backpacking...don't really care where :)

Backpacking in Europe for sure. I came from a tropical weather so the beach doesn't do anything for me.
