  1. If I had a choice I would prefer to be deaf. You can at least communicate if you are deaf through sign language.

  2. i think being blind is worse. I could handle being deaf better than being blind.

  3. i think there both bad but i would rather see.

  4. I think being blind is worst. Because you would never be able to see the people you love.

  5. blind i want to see i could read peoples lips

  6. deaf..........even tho i love seeing.....i mean imagine....no sound at all!!!!!i think id go nuts

  7. I think they are about equal. so many wonderous and beautiful things in this world are visual, like art, seeing your friends, family, and those you care about, or just random things you like to look at. It would be terrible to lose this gift. But it would be just as horrifying never to be able to hear music again, or birds chirping, or your loved ones laughing and talking. wow i sound sappy...sorry about that, but there ya go!!

  8. i think being blind would be worse because you would not be able to drive or do some of most fun things to do such as ride a bike. it would be hard to do just simple things- still blind people inspire me because even though they can't see, many of them are very smart and can tell what goes on around them and can do things that many people would think they wouldnt be able to do.

(then again, being deaf would suck too because you wouldnt be able to hear music or what people are saying but you would at least be able to communicate with ASL)

  9. Personally, I'd rather be deaf than blind.  You can still communiate with American Sign Language and sometimes hearing aids help.

  10. Blind is worst because you will not able to drive; but deaf can drive.

  11. I would say Bucky R same thing.
