  1. Both take a lot of flexibility, but both are extremely fun. It really depends on the person though. I would choose gymnastics.

  2. it really depends on what you personally like better- both are very hard work- ballet, to get really good takes years and years of intense training- you need to be flexible for both- and ballet will teach you alot of things!

i would say rhythmic gymnastics is going to be more fun- and ballet you have to be very passionate about to have fun- hope i helped

  3. Ballet's better!

  4. I'd say it depends on your level of flexibility. I did ballet to improve my skills when I was in rhythmic gymnastics.

  5. Take Ballet and when your body is flexible enough then try gymnastics and then be a cheerleader (Hehe)

  6. it depends on what you like better.

It would be silly to devote to ballet or rhythmic gymnastics if your not that into it.

They are both very strenuous on the body and take lots of hard work and dedication.

So before you devote to one  make sure you dont like the other better.

  7. It really depends on the person.

For me, classical ballet is better because I love dancing and I find it helpful with my flexibility.

Rhythmic gymnastics uses more energy and you might have to work harder. In ballet, you move more slowly and you have to be more graceful.

They are both hard to do if you want to work professionally.

Downsides of ballet is that it is expensive to do, because you need to buy ballet shoes, a leotard, and maybe even a skirt and tights or socks. Also when you're on pointe shoes, your toes will bleed and it will hurt. And you won't be able to go into the Olympics, (ha ha).

Downsides of rhythmic gymnastics are that you will get injuries, though you will get injuries in almost any sport. You will also have to buy equipment and uniform. You may get very tired.

But good things about ballet are that you will get very flexible and you will be a good dancer, obviously. You will get a wonderful experience doing ballet, it you do it for long enough. If you like school, that's great because if you do ballet it'll be like going to school twice.

Good things about rhythmic gymnastics ...

Really the same with ballet ... you'll get better technique, you'll be flexible, you might get a good experience.

Also you'll be able to go into the Olympics, if you're very very good at it though, of course.

With what I've said rhythmic gymnastics sounds like a better choice, but really, they're similar and if I were you I would have a hard time deciding.

Hope I helped and good luck!
