Which do you think is the best illness/disease to die from?

I like Tuberculosis a lot. Highly improbable I'd die from it though (though I'm probably infected with the bacillus just that my immune system can currently fight it back).

Hrmm... Massive bleeding. A rather quick and bloody death with an open injury near a major blood vessel in my chest or abdomen would be a way I'd go with joy. With the risk of getting mugged and shot at in the big cities, it isn't impossible hehe.

The idea of dying of old age from cancer or a stroke being heavily sedated just doesn't appeal to me.

Having seen a lot of death since I am in the medical field, I would say that a massive stroke ,heart attack, or acute brain aneurism can kill someone in seconds which would minimize pain.  My aunt died from liver cancer and it was a slower death, but she simply became weaker and weaker until she was in a coma and passed away peacefully.  But I would have to agree that old age/dying in your sleep from basic heart failure is probably the way most people would like to die.  I have seen older people sitting and watching tv one minute then they just close their eyes and go to heaven peacefully, sometimes even smiling!
