I am doing some google seach and trying to make up my mind which is the best to travel with between Dublin and Holyhead STENA LINE OR IRISH FERRIES (sorry about the caps) Can anyone give me more info?

Sorry folks not sure which category this should be posted in but as I am from Ireland I thought I would post it here.

  1. Think it all depends on how much time you want to spend travelling, but paying that little bit extra to get there in half the time, seems like a good idea to me

  2. I have been looking also at websites and stena line takes half the time of Irish ferries but is more expensive. sometimes the cheapest isn't always the best option and it depends also on how long you are going for.

  3. Well it's all the same really I suppose whatever's cheapest and all that but if you want to factor other stuff in you could support the one that is Irish owned and employs more Irish residents? Just a thought I usually go with cheapest/fastest myself :o)

  4. Either will get you there but if the Stena Line HSS does the journey then it wil be quickest and comfiest.

    If not, the cheapest option!

    Happy Travelling!

  5. A ferry is a ferry is a ferry.

    Go with the cheapest option.
